Let's remake the basic pattern.
Let's start modeling the flared silhouette from the shelf. Having decided on the length, set aside the desired size along the center line of the pattern. Next, set the desired width along the bottom edge. Draw a new side seam line from the bottom of the armhole. These constructions are shown in blue lines in the following drawing. Since our dress is not fitted, we remove the darts at this level. We will make the chest dart shorter by 2 cm to avoid a sharp peak on the bulge of the chest.
This model has a boat neckline. To build the roll-out line, we need to shift the dart a little. We transfer it as shown in the following figure.
We deepen the rollout of the neck by 1 cm and expand it by 6 cm. Draw a rollout line under the pattern.
We received the finished pattern.
Next we will model the back. We need to set aside the required length and flare the pattern from the armpits. At the same time, be sure to check the lengths of the side seams of the back and the shelf. They must be equal. Remove darts at the waist.
We shift the dart along the shoulder line to a distance equal to the same shift on the shelf.
We widen the neck of the back by 6 cm and deepen it by 1 cm.
We get the finished back pattern.
Finally, let's model the sleeve. We use a single-seam sleeve pattern as a basis. Set aside the length 3⁄4, remove the darts.
Let's create a concave bottom line.
Let's remake the finished pattern for the sleeve of the dress, flared from the armhole.
To adjust the lower cut, fold both patterns, as shown in the following drawing. On the side seam section, smooth out the bottom line by drawing it under the pattern. The points on the arms for checking the roll-out mating are marked with red exclamation marks.
