Self-adhesive Alcantara - artificial suede.

Alcantara is an elastic artificial material that imitates natural suede. The name, which has become a household name, comes from an Italian manufacturing company that was one of the first to launch a production line for this high-tech artificial suede (Alcantara SpA). The Alcantara material has proven itself so well that it very quickly became popular not only in Italy, but throughout the world.

Although Alcantara is completely artificial, it has all the advantages of natural suede, while being devoid of its disadvantages, which is due to a special manufacturing technology. Alcantara is made from polyester, a synthetic fiber with high wear resistance. Alcantara faux suede is a soft, highly elastic material similar to bi-stretch jersey or Lycra.

Alcantara stretches in both transverse and longitudinal directions. This makes it suitable for covering parts with complex geometries. For example, car racks or steering wheels.

The list of advantages of this material is impressive:

  1. Artificial Alcantara is visually very similar to real suede. The interior covered with it looks very expensive and chic.
  2. Self-adhesive Alcantara suede is pleasant to the touch. Touching the dashboard or steering wheel covered in Alcantara is a real pleasure.
  3. It is absolutely safe for health, hygienic and environmentally friendly. Alcantara is a “breathable” (air-permeable) material. Thanks to all these properties, even in a cabin entirely covered with self-adhesive artificial suede, it is pleasant and easy to breathe.
  4. The material is easy to care for. It is enough to vacuum the interior or, in case of serious contamination, lightly walk over it with a clean sponge moistened with water.
  5. Alcantara is a delicate and light, but at the same time extremely durable material.
  6. Pasting with Alcantara is carried out without special equipment. Everything is done by hand.
  7. A rich color palette allows you to choose any, even the most fantastic option.

Alcantara fabric is very soft and pliable. Fits perfectly on a hard surface, follows its contours and takes on almost any shape. Self-adhesive Alcantara on one side is velvety and fleecy, like real suede. On the reverse side it is covered with an adhesive layer. The glue is of very high quality and allows you to reliably fix the material on any hard surface.

To avoid sticking of the adhesive layer, a special backing is used before starting work. It can be made of special non-woven material or paper. Before gluing, the edge of the backing is raised, the edge of the Alcantara is fixed to the surface and glued. As he moves along the part to be glued, the master gradually removes the backing. The suede is pressed to the surface and smoothed by hand. Excess material is carefully cut off with a sharp construction knife. A few hours of work - and the car interior is simply magnificent.

Fabric structure

Ultramicrofiber is made from polyester (68%) and polyurethane (32%) fibers. To produce the material, synthetic threads undergo a whole cycle of processing, and then, using wet viscous spinning technology, a fabric is produced, which is also subjected to various chemical and textile treatments.

Durable, stain-resistant material is actually microfiber impregnated with special compounds that improve performance, dyed and treated with abrasive to give the surface a velvety structure, like suede.

Alcantara for cars is an amazing material for styling.

The interior of a car is the holy of holies for any motorist. It should be cozy, clean and look as luxurious as possible. In luxury cars, genuine leather and suede are used for this purpose. These materials look presentable, but are very expensive and require special care. Self-adhesive Alcantara for cars can make the car interior truly luxurious without extra costs. The softness and pliability of artificial suede allows it to cover any, even the most complex parts with all sorts of curves:

  • The dashboard is covered in Alcantara very often;
  • The console can also be covered with an analogue of suede;
  • The easiest way to reupholster the stands is in faux suede;
  • The ceiling is the most popular application for Alcantara;
  • The rear parcel shelf will also not be difficult to cover;
  • Door sides will require some experience;
  • The steering wheel is covered in Alcantara quickly, but the work must be done by a specialist.

Self-adhesive suede lays perfectly flat on the surface without forming folds or wrinkles. Upon completion of the work, the interior, upholstered in Alcantara, gives the impression of being professionally made in a factory environment.

In addition to its practicality, Alcantara, like an analogue of suede, has high aesthetic characteristics. It really is an amazing material for styling it like velvet or natural suede. It's a pleasure to be in the Alcantara-trimmed interior. This coating provides unforgettable aesthetic pleasure.

With proper experience, reupholstery can be done with your own hands. To do this, you will need to buy several meters of Alcantara for your car. The exact footage is calculated depending on the machine and parts that will be covered. The price per meter of Alcantara in Moscow is relatively low and quite affordable for a car enthusiast. In addition, when purchasing a roll, the cost is even lower.

Alcantara upholstery can be done in any color. This always produces a stunning effect. Due to the characteristics of the material, it has a deep, rich color. Whatever shade you choose - from ivory to intense graphite - it will be simply luxurious. And if over time you get tired of the shade of suede, you can simply change it to another. Alcantara is easy to remove and replace with a new one.

Secrets of material care

It was mentioned above that caring for Alcantara does not cause difficulties for car enthusiasts. The main thing is to know the secrets of combating certain pollutants.

The following nuances are worth highlighting here:

  • Ballpoint pens, chewing gum, shoe polish, bitumen and other structural pollutants can be easily removed using ethyl alcohol (from 90%) or turpentine. To clean the surface, simply wet a soft cloth with one of the mentioned compounds and treat the contaminated surface.
  • The ink stain must not be left for a long time without treatment. When it appears, it is advisable to immediately blot it with a piece of paper with a 20% alcohol solution, after which all that remains is to clean the problem area with a sponge and soap suds.
  • Alcohol can also leave traces. At the same time, the principle “knocks out a wedge with a wedge” works here. To remove stains, simply wipe the surface with a soapy solution, and then remove the remaining stains with methyl alcohol (percentage no higher than 15-20 percent).
  • Beer is a major pollutant that often ends up in the backseat. If the intoxicating drink does get on the surface, you need to moisten the sponge in warm water. After such a simple treatment, final cleaning is carried out using 3 percent methyl alcohol. At the same time, do not be overzealous with heating the water. The maximum temperature is 40 degrees Celsius.
  • Oil and other fats must be cleaned dry, that is, without the use of additional compounds. Here it is allowed to use a blotting piece of paper or a special adsorbent.
  • Wine and other “colored” drinks can be easily removed using a soap solution, a soft cloth (sponge) and a 50% vinegar solution.
  • Milk, tea or coffee are removed using 10% ammonia.
  • Contact with the surface of vegetables or fruits, paint, blood or chocolate, cosmetics or syrup leaves serious stains. Eliminating them is not always easy. All that is required is a soft cloth (sponge) soaked in soapy water. If the stain is old, then you will need the help of a specialist. You can use a foam interior cleaner.

  • As a last resort, Alcantara can be placed in a washing machine, set the temperature to 30 degrees Celsius, turn off the spin cycle and activate the delicate wash. In this case, there is no need to buy additional compounds.

If you have no experience in cleaning Alcantara or the dirt covers a large area, then it is easier and faster to take the material to the dry cleaner.

At the same time, do not forget about the importance of periodically cleaning Alcantara using a vacuum cleaner, dry cloth or soft brush.

Reupholstering the interior with Alcantara makes it possible to:

  • Update the car interior;
  • Make it more luxurious visually and pleasant to the touch;
  • Completely change the interior of the car;
  • Give the interior design individual features;
  • Improve the performance characteristics of plastic and other surfaces.

The physical properties of self-adhesive suede make it possible to cover even such parts as the instrument panel and steering wheel. The fabric is soft, pliable and fits perfectly on any curves without forming unsightly folds. Upholstering a car interior with Alcantara provides many advantages. For example, grip on the steering wheel improves. Elastic suede is not only soft, but also absolutely non-slippery. A steering wheel covered with such material is more comfortable and pleasant to hold in your hands. Alcantara is a material that is not only beautiful, but also warm. Even after the car has been parked in a freezing cold parking lot for several hours, the faux suede-covered pillars and console feel nice to touch.

At the customer’s request, our company’s specialists will reupholster the interior or its individual parts with high quality and in the shortest possible time. Despite the apparent ease of Alcantara cladding, there are many nuances, the observance of which determines the ideal appearance and long service life of this material. Our specialists will make sure that your salon looks its best.

Alcantara characteristics

The practical value of the canvas is determined by a whole set of qualities:

  • durable, wear-resistant;
  • elastic;
  • breathable;
  • keeps you warm in cold weather, cool in hot weather;
  • does not affect human health, hypoallergenic;
  • resistant to detergents;
  • anti-slip;
  • high level of fabric uniformity, resistant to mechanical stress;
  • does not fade under sunlight;
  • does not absorb odors well;
  • some types are available with fire retardant treatment;
  • dimensional stability, does not change properties under the influence of water;
  • soft, pleasant, gentle to the touch.

Among the disadvantages, users note that the price of Alcantara is relatively high. However, this factor can be classified as a disadvantage with a big stretch, because this is compensated many times over by an impressive service life.

Pasting a car ceiling with Alcantara.

Even the most careful operation of the car will not help protect its ceiling from contamination. Common dust, cigarette smoke, scratches and other “delights” of the road greatly affect the appearance of the interior ceiling. It gets quite dirty, while remaining visible. Therefore, when the question arises about updating the car interior, first of all there is a desire to cover the ceiling with Alcantara.

Self-adhesive artificial suede, like no other material, is suitable for pasting car ceilings. Excellent wear resistance, elegant appearance and ease of care of this material are the main arguments in favor of covering the ceiling with Alcantara. Self-adhesive faux suede can radically change the appearance of the ceiling, and not just update it slightly.

But in order for the Alcantara ceiling to go smoothly, you need to perform a number of operations: you need space in the box, time, skills and the help of skilled hands. You will need to dismantle the ceiling, place it horizontally on the prepared surface for ease of pasting, correctly calculate and glue the Alcantara layer to the plastic surface. Then the ceiling must be carefully installed in place without damaging or staining the newly glued material.

Care is important during the pasting process. Be sure to carefully and evenly place the suede on the plastic, avoiding the formation of air bubbles and folds. The backing must be removed gradually so that the backing adhesive layer does not stick to itself. All this requires a certain skill and ability to work with this material.

At the same time, Alcantara allows you to ideally cover any convex and concave parts of the ceiling. When working with it, no joints are visible on parts of the car (even if you had to make them), but usually one continuous sheet of suede is used to cover the ceiling. First, it is glued to the surface, and then the excess material is carefully trimmed off.

Some amateur craftsmen do all this work themselves. Any of them can confirm that covering with Alcantara is a painstaking task that requires great patience and care. For those who find all this to be an unnecessarily labor-intensive task, it is better to turn to professionals. The craftsmen of our company will, with the utmost care, reupholster the car ceiling with Alcantara in the optimal time for you.

Alcantara or genuine leather, which is better to choose?

Since Alcantara surprisingly resembles suede or velor, many people have a logical question: which fabric to choose? First, of course, it is worth considering that each material performs its own tasks. During the experiments, it turned out that Alcantara is much more resistant to physical influences than genuine leather. This feature makes it an ideal finishing material, since wear resistance is a key characteristic for such tasks.

In addition to its durability, Alcantara is distinguished from genuine leather by the following features:

  • Not afraid of sudden temperature changes and exposure to chemicals;
  • Does not fade in the sun, holds color well, and is durable. Genuine leather does not like the scorching rays of the sun and immediately becomes very hot;
  • Easy to clean, remove even stubborn stains. Caring for Alcantara is much simpler, does not require much time and effort, and does not need to be treated with special substances, like suede;
  • Thanks to its elasticity, it is convenient to use for finishing complex objects.

Often clients opt for a compromise - a combination of genuine leather and Alcantara. This combination is considered practical and harmonious. Moreover, not every leather material may be suitable for certain purposes.

If you are a supporter of a conscious approach to consumption, and genuine leather is not an acceptable option for you. Feel free to buy Alcantara! This is an environmentally friendly, high-quality material, the creation of which does not harm animals, and it is superior to leather in many respects. The raw materials for Alcantara are cotton and polymers.

Alcantara interior upholstery.

Reupholstering the interior with Alcantara is a popular service in Moscow and the region. This material allows you to make even the most modest car interior luxurious. Faux suede goes well with leather or suede upholstery. In terms of characteristics and cost, self-adhesive Alcantara is significantly superior to natural leather, suede or synthetic materials intended for interior lining.

First of all, the price of self-adhesive Alcantara is captivating. At a low cost, Alcantara allows you to get great results. The expensive look of the Alcantara interior and the ease of caring for it are only half the benefits of faux suede. In addition, Alcantara:

  • Does not scratch or rub off like natural leather;
  • Does not burst like artificial leather;
  • Does not rub or shine like natural suede;
  • It lays perfectly flat on any surface of any complexity, be it the steering wheel, pillars or other parts of the interior.

Very rarely, self-adhesive artificial suede is used to reupholster one or two parts in the interior. Typically, Alcantara is used to cover all visible plastic parts:

  • Instrument panels;
  • Racks;
  • Rear shelf;
  • Ceiling;
  • Steering wheel;
  • Inner surfaces of doors, etc.

To cover these parts with artificial suede, they should be dismantled and, upon completion of all work, installed in place. Alcantara fits tightly to the plastic. Even after a long period of use, no gaps form between the fabric and the plastic surface of the parts. Provided that everything was done professionally and carefully, no one would even guess that the interior was completely reupholstered. Alcantara in the car interior looks very solid, like the “native” upholstery of an expensive luxury car.

Feedback on the material from drivers

Nothing characterizes the material better than reviews from real car enthusiasts:

Dmitry, 25 years old, Moscow.

“I bought self-adhesive Alcantara in the hope of transforming the interior. I love classics, so I preferred black. The final result was pleasantly surprising.

The material looks great - it stretches and sticks to any surface without any problems. In addition, if necessary, Alcantara is laid overlapping or end-to-end.”

Ivan, 40 years old, Perm.

“For me, the downside was the fact that I couldn’t do the work myself—I had to hire an assistant. Otherwise, no complaints."

Irina, 34 years old, Balashikha.

“I always wanted to transform the interior of the car, make it brighter. Red Alcantara made it possible to realize our plans.

After watching several videos, I decided to cover part of the dashboard myself.

I was pleased with the final result - now I will paste over the remaining part.”

Alcantara steering wheel covered.

Pasting the steering wheel is the most “jewelry” part of the job of covering the interior with Alcantara. Many drivers order this service. It allows you to improve grip on the steering wheel and completely control the situation on the road. Even on the steepest turns, the steering wheel will not slip out of your hands and will be completely obedient to the driver.

In addition to this purely technical side of the issue, wrapping the steering wheel with Alcantara allows you to get more pleasure from driving the car. The warm, velvety material will provide the driver with an extremely pleasant tactile sensation. Even after many hours of parking in the cold, while the car interior has not yet warmed up, the Alcantara-covered steering wheel will not allow your fingers to freeze.

Faux elastic suede is very practical. After a long period of use, it does not shine, as is usually the case with natural suede. To cover the steering wheel with Alcantara, you do not need to cut and sew, which is required when working with artificial and natural leather. It just immediately sticks firmly to the plastic. The junction of the edges of the material is absolutely not noticeable.

The elastic woven base of this material allows you to easily overcome any surface irregularities and ideally cover the entire steering wheel and horn, repeating even the smallest details. Another great thing about self-adhesive suede is that it is very easy to replace. You just need to carefully peel off the old Alcantara and put a new one in its place, carefully smoothing it out and releasing air bubbles from under the folds.

The Alcantara steering wheel is not only pleasant and easy to use, but also looks good. Aesthetics in this matter are important, because the driver most often sees precisely this part of the car interior.

Advantages and disadvantages of the material

Advantages of Alcantara:

  • does not require complex care;
  • durable;
  • the pile is abrasion resistant;
  • resistant to sun, wind and water;
  • non-flammable;
  • easy to cut and sew.

The products look neat, the resemblance to suede gives them a noble appearance.

Among the disadvantages, one can note the higher cost compared to other artificial fabrics. Those who value prestige do not choose matter because of its non-natural origin.

This fabric is produced only in Italy. It can't be cheap. Anyone who wants to buy the original must clarify in which country the material was produced. However, the Turkish and Chinese versions are in no way inferior to the original in their characteristics.

Re-upholstery (pasting) of equipment and furniture with Alcantara.

Artificial self-adhesive suede is such a versatile material that it can be quite successfully used not only in the car interior. Alcantara is in demand in the Fashion industry, furniture and some other areas. Since working with Alcantara is quite easy and it has excellent performance characteristics, it is often used for reupholstering furniture, appliances and some other things.

If it is necessary to update furniture (sofa armrests, plastic parts of an office chair, etc.), using genuine leather or suede is expensive and difficult. Working with these materials requires special skills and special equipment, which cannot be said about Alcantara. Self-adhesive suede needs neither. The only thing you need to reupholster furniture with Alcantara yourself is time and conscientiousness.

It is important to remember that this material is not suitable for upholstery of soft parts (seats and backs of chairs, sofas, poufs). But it is ideal for gluing hard surfaces: wood, chipboard, plastic, metal. It is enough to remove the paper backing of the Alcantara and the latter will be ready for gluing. A couple of hours of careful work - and all the worn parts of your furniture will be transformed beyond recognition.

Alcantara is also used in other areas. It is in demand among photographers because it allows you to create a luxurious and absolutely glare-free background for photo shoots, and at no extra cost. It is often used to cover some plastic surfaces of equipment when they need updating. Such a wide range of applications for Alcantara provokes high demand for this luxurious and high-tech material.

Where is it used?

Alcantara material is used in various fields:

  • tailoring, shoe making;
  • jewelry industry;
  • interior of yachts, boats, helicopters, airplanes;
  • furniture manufacturing;
  • production of cushions for woodwind instruments;
  • car upholstery;
  • steering wheel finish for professional racers to prevent hands from slipping;
  • interior decoration of expensive hotels, restaurants, casinos.

Most often, Alcantara for cars is used by business and premium class manufacturers. It can be used alone or combined with genuine leather.

Fabric from Korea is often used to make furniture, toys, and interior items.

Self-adhesive film and Alcantara fabric. Similarities and differences.

Currently, there are two materials that are similar in appearance, but fundamentally different in their manufacturing method and characteristics. We are talking about comparing self-adhesive Alcantara and velvet-coated film. Alcantara fabric was discussed in detail above - it is artificial suede. But the film with a velvety coating is worth closer attention.

The basic material for the Alcantara film is ordinary vinyl, the same as that used in glossy or matte car vinyl. A velvet layer is applied on top of the base, which makes the film look like Alcantara. This material has its advantages and disadvantages. The advantages include low cost of production and sale. In addition, the Alcantara film stretches well.

There are also plenty of disadvantages. The lint on the surface of the film wears off very quickly, leaving smooth vinyl at the site of frequent exposure. The service life is several times less than self-adhesive artificial suede. The choice, as always, remains with the buyer: pay a little more and get durable material or save money, knowing that the service life of the film is several times shorter.

Types of Alcantara and main brands

The fabric first appeared in the 70s of the last century. Japanese masters acted as developers. The first manufacturers to operate in 1972 were two concerns - Toray (Japan) and Eni (Italy).

As for the types, there are several options - smooth and perforated material is used to make seat covers.

Self-adhesive fabric, which is suitable for finishing other interior elements, is also popular.

The general classification is as follows:

  1. Panel is a fabric that does not include a backing. Installed on pillars, ceiling, dashboard.

  2. Formal is a product with a textile backing, suitable for creating seat covers.

  3. Cover is a fabric with a backing made from textiles.

  4. Soft - a product with a foam rubber backing, used for racks and ceilings.

In recent years, Italian brands have been leading the Alcantara market, but Chinese manufacturers are gradually taking over the “blanket”.

The advantage of products from China is comparable quality to Italian ones at a more affordable price.

As for the resource of Alcantara from Chinese brands, the lifespan of the material is no lower than that of suede from Italy.

Car Alcantara colors.

The range of shades of automotive Alcantara can satisfy any needs in car interior design. Alcantara colors include both basic shades and unusual, rare varieties. Here we provide a far from complete list of colors of self-adhesive Alcantara. Let's start with the most popular color of self-adhesive faux suede - black.

Black Alcantara for cars.

Black Alcantara is rightfully considered the most popular material that imitates suede. Self-adhesive black Alcantara for cars is suitable in the vast majority of cases when it is necessary to cover the interior. Car Alcantara with an adhesive layer will help you quickly and inexpensively update your old interior.

When developing the interior design, you can use a solid cover, select adjacent colors or play with contrast. In particular, the combination of black and gray faux suede will look sharp. If you add a similar white material to black Alcantara, you will get a stylishly designed car interior.

We have repeatedly noted that black color enhances the perception of neighboring colors. If you combine shades such as orange or red with black, you get a very vibrant design. The same applies to other combinations: black-blue, purple-black, green-black, etc. In addition to black self-adhesive faux suede, motorists often choose gray.

Gray Alcantara for the car.

Gray faux suede with a self-adhesive backing can rival black Alcantara in popularity. The versatility of this material is beyond doubt. The fact is that manufacturers try to use the least easily soiled materials and shades in mass-produced cars. Among the most practical colors, gray is considered the king. Against its background, dark or, conversely, light spots are faintly visible. Considering the durability of the material itself, self-adhesive gray Alcantara is the best choice for car owners who do not want to clean the interior every day.

Gray Alcantara has several gradations (shades). Self-adhesive faux suede comes in dark gray (anthracite), gray, and light gray, which is sometimes called silver. The selection of a specific shade depends on the materials that are already used in the interior decoration of the car. We recommend choosing dark gray Alcantara (graphite shade) or self-adhesive gray suede.

Blue Alcantara for car.

Blue color is suitable if you are tired of shades of gray and want variety. The benefit of blue faux suede is its calming effect. Blue color acts in such a way that a person becomes focused, but without tension. This is important when staying in a car for a long time. In combination with the Alcantara surface, which is soft to the touch, the driver experiences the comfort of being in a cabin covered with this material.

The use of black and gray faux suede will help to slightly diversify the design, in which the main role is played by blue Alcantara. Black will enhance the visual intensity of blue, and gray can reduce it. In addition, you can try a combination of blue Alcantara with a similar white material.

Red Alcantara is self-adhesive.

The brightest of all colors - red - completely changes the perception of the car's interior, even if used in small quantities. It should be noted that, unlike vinyl films, self-adhesive red Alcantara does not have the same brightness due to the characteristics of the material. The pile on the surface of faux suede absorbs some of the light, so the material appears darker and, at the same time, richer.

This feature can be considered a plus, because red Alcantara is intended for upholstery of the interior. If it were too bright, it would be difficult to stay inside the car for a long time: the red color would be too distracting from the situation on the road.

Therefore, you can safely decorate the entire interior of the car with red faux suede. In case of a lack or excess of red brightness, use a proven recipe - add elements of black or gray, respectively.

Beige Alcantara for interior upholstery.

Another popular shade of faux suede is beige. The stable demand for this material is due to the fact that the beige color creates an atmosphere of comfort in the car interior. Therefore, manufacturers often use beige leather upholstery in mid- and premium-class cars. However, the cost of genuine leather and suede is quite high, so it is more advisable to use Alcantara for upholstery. By the way, we also have beige faux leather on sale.

Beige Alcantara not only creates comfort, but visually expands the interior space of the car. This will be appreciated by all, without exception, drivers who have to spend a lot of time traveling. Unlike white material, beige self-adhesive Alcantara does not require careful maintenance.

White Alcantara with adhesive layer.

The white color of Alcantara means many shades such as ivory or cream white. It would be correct to distinguish between them. Due to the nature of the material, glossy vinyl cannot be whitened. However, as mentioned above, there are shades lighter or darker. Snow-white Alcantara is the lightest material from this series.

White artificial suede is used in the design of many car interiors. The main advantage of this color is considered to be the visual expansion of the surrounding interior space. In addition, white color is convenient to use as a background for inserting bright elements. This way you can achieve a high-quality level of stylization. The disadvantage is the same as that of all light-colored materials - soiling. Therefore, the use of white Alcantara with an adhesive layer inside the car requires more careful care.

Brown Alcantara for interior trim.

Brown Alcantara, with proper design, can transform the most ordinary interior into the premium interior of a luxury car. Therefore, it is better to think through the future image of the internal space in advance, before proceeding with the fitting. However, we will share the secret of how you can achieve a professional result.

The easiest way is to use additional colors that diversify the interior. But not the entire range of faux suede shades is suitable for these purposes. The right choice would be a combination of beige and brown Alcantara. This type of wrap is often used in luxury cars. You can call it classic. The design will be calm, moderately strict and solid at the same time.

But you can experiment and add green, blue or cyan to brown. It will look fashionable and stylish, but not too bright. True, there is also a trick here: the additional color should not occupy more than 20 percent of the main one.

Self-adhesive purple Alcantara.

Self-adhesive purple Alcantara is suitable for both men's and women's cars. It all depends on the additional color shades. To make the purple color more mysterious, you should surround it with black. The ratio should be one to three in favor of black Alcantara. But the use of light gray Alcantara together with purple faux suede creates an atmosphere of technology, which is appropriate when styling sports cars. Among other things, purple Alcantara is used in conjunction with white and sand faux suede.

Orange Alcantara for car.

Styling orange self-adhesive suede should be approached with caution. Rarely does anyone dare to cover the entire interior of a car in solid orange. Firstly, it is very tiring for the eyes. Secondly, it's tasteless.

It’s another matter if you combine orange Alcantara with colors such as black or gray (of various gradations). In this case it will turn out beautiful and not so bright. Moreover, the interior of a car is often replete with these colors, so it will be easier to make a beautiful design.

Automotive green Alcantara.

Green suede with a self-adhesive backing comes in different shades. The main ones include emerald, bright green and khaki. The choice of a specific shade depends on the design of the car. Green Alcantara is not often used in car interiors. Basically, this material can be found in tuned cars, where development is carried out at all levels, and the design is a single whole inside and outside.

Yellow Alcantara on the car.

Yellow faux suede is not the easiest way to style the interior of a car. Only a professional can work with this color. If you uncontrollably tighten all the interior parts, you will end up with one bright spot. Therefore, we recommend that you consult in advance with a designer who has sufficient experience in car interior styling. In general, the same rules apply as with orange faux suede: yellow Alcantara must be combined with black or gray.

Blue Alcantara self-adhesive.

The color of blue Alcantara will look good in the interior of the car if the body is blue or blue. You can also decorate the interior with blue faux suede if the car is white, black or gray. In other cases, we do not recommend using this material.

Alcantara ivory.

Ivory Alcantara is almost white, but slightly darker. Since snow-white Alcantara is rarely used due to impracticality, when they say white Alcantara, they often mean ivory color. Just like light beige or cream, ivory Alcantara visually expands the interior, thereby increasing the comfort of staying inside the car.
