How to measure a sleeping place and calculate the size of the set
The most important parameter is the size of the mattress. 20-30 years ago there were no problems with this. There were only one-, one-and-a-half and double mattresses available according to GOST. If we are talking about a regular, rectangular one, then we act on the basis that the mattress must be completely hidden on at least three sides: two side and one end (foot). We calculate as follows: width – the diameter of the mattress + 2 of its heights; length – the length of the mattress + 1 its height. - 160+(20x2) =200 cm.
