The front and back are cut out from the main fabric, taking into account allowances for stitching. At the shoulder seams and between the legs, the pieces should overlap to accommodate snaps or buttons. Cutting parts for fasteners are also cut out from the main fabric: three on the back and three on the front of the bodysuit.- The undercut parts are duplicated with non-woven fabric and processed with any type of machine or hand overcast stitch along straight cuts. The side seams are sewn down and overcast.
- The main parts are folded with the undercut wrong sides and processed together with two pieces of knitted braid. The first is for the neckline and armholes, the second is for the cutout of the legs.

- Sew the cuffs along short sections and, folding them inside out, sew them to the lower sections of the sleeves and trouser legs.
- On the front trim strip, mark the places for the buttons and sew or punch them.

- main fabric 50 cm with a width of 140 cm;
- fastex for adjusting the length of the backpack straps, 2 pieces, 20-25 mm wide;
- seal for the back of the carrier (non-woven fabric or dublerin), you can use foam rubber, but it will give off excess heat;
- Velcro tape 16 cm;
elastic bands, appliques and other decor.
As the main fabric, you can take old adult jeans, the main thing is that the width of the trouser leg is at least 30 cm. For the wrong side, any textile is suitable: to match the main fabric, contrasting or with a print. Kangaroo straps can also be cut from jeans, or you can purchase webbing for slings at a sewing store. It will take 2-3 hours to sew Baby Bon's carrier.
Cut out 2 identical pieces: 1 for the front side and 1 for the back.- For the straps, cut 2 strips 75 cm by 6 cm (finished 2 cm). Fold them in half lengthwise, right sides inward, and glue the seal onto one of the halves. Stitch long sections and one short one. Turn the straps inside out and stitch along both sides. Secure each with a fastex on the side of the stitched short edges.
- Cut out two loops 10 cm by 6 cm. Fold in half face inward, stitch along the long side, turn out and thread into the mating part of the fastex.
- Pin the straps and loops, folded in half, to the main part from the front side along the marks: straps on top, loops on the bottom.
Place the second piece on top, face down, so that the straps are inside. Stitch along the contour, without catching the straight cut on the bottom.- Sew an elastic band along the bottom edge to the seam allowances, turn the piece right side out, having previously trimmed the corners diagonally. Place the allowances of the open cuts inside the part, stitch to the edge, without catching the elastic. Continue stitching along the edge of the entire kangaroo. On the bottom part, lay another line at such a distance from the first that the elastic is between the lines.
- Cut the Velcro tape into two equal sections and stitch it to the side parts of the upper and lower parts so that the baby doll does not dangle when fastened.
Additionally, the kangaroo can be equipped with pockets, ruffles, and decorated with keychains and appliqués.

For winter, the doll will need warm clothes. Knitted materials and old sweaters are suitable for the hat. Sewing a headdress is so easy that you don't even need a pattern. You need to measure the circumference of the doll's head with a measuring tape and cut a circle out of the fabric, leaving room for the seams. Then a lace or elastic is sewn along the edges so that the hat stays on the head and does not slip off. If desired, you can make garters from threads. You can decorate the fabric with sparkles, beautiful buttons and rhinestones. Unusual embroidery will also be a decoration. You can make a small triangular pattern along the hat. A soft pompom at the top of the hat will also look beautiful.
It’s even easier to sew a hat from the above-mentioned tights. We take a sock with a heel from tights and form a hat out of it. There is no need to sew anything here anymore. The hat is ready, all that remains is to decorate it. You can sew a bow from colored ribbon, decorate it with a bead and sew it to the hat. This is how we easily made a beautiful hat for a doll.
Buy or make it yourself
Every knitter knows that thread (of any quality and price) that has already been used becomes duller, unevenness and spools appear on it. Therefore, the product must first be dissolved. Then, winding the resulting yarn not into a tight ball, but into a wide and loose skein (for this, use a chair or a special stand), soak and wash; dry in a loose position to avoid tangling; steam until it becomes even and smooth again. Once this difficult procedure is completed, the yarn is ready for reuse. If all this is not done, then the maximum that can be used to bandage old items is socks, which will not be visible under clothes.

Having traced the outline, we begin to draw the model, as shown in the photo.
Don't forget about details such as sleeves and shoulder straps. It will be enough to make one pattern at a time. Cut out the pattern and trace it onto the fabric.
When cutting parts, it is better to make sure that the seam is in the center, this will give the clothing some originality.
We sew two identical parts. This seam will be located along the entire body of the doll.
We sew the sleeve to one of the parts, as shown in the photo.
Next, we connect the parts on the back and sew them with machine stitching.
We sew the pants in the same way.
Turn the finished product inside out. We put the overalls on the doll.
